Welcome!
My name is BJ Danylchuk.
I am a wood artisan. I use a lathe to enable the inherent beauty to emerge from a chunk of wood, while crafting a functional form that is tactilely seductive.
I work out of woodturning studios in two different locations, one in Champney's West, Newfoundland, and the other in Southern Ontario.
This website provides an image gallery, a representative sample of the work I’ve been doing, some already in private collections, some available. There’s also info on any upcoming events on my calendar, as well as some info about me, including my Artist Statement, and contact info.
